The Center for Applied Social Research (CASR) applies innovative concepts and methods in social sciences to advance complex, multi-faceted organizational, policy, and public health research. CASR approaches critical emerging issues that influence institutional policies and practices from an interdisciplinary perspective to enhance our understanding of human social behavior and develop practical solutions to real-world problems.

Short Description of CASR

The Center for Applied Social Research located at the University of Oklahoma is an organization focused on applying cutting edge concepts in the social sciences to complex issues in the world today. The Center seeks to take an interdisciplinary approach to research merging sciences such as anthropology, industrial organizational psychology, communications, economics, geography and sociology in order to develop creative solutions to real world problems.
