1.  Medical Chart Reviews:  (Adan)

1. Thanked everyone for their opinions through the e-mails regarding the medical

chart reviews. There seems to be some confusion regarding the topic. He added

that the Centro will find (but not hire), train, and coordinate the nurse(s) to

collect the data from the medical charts.

       2. The OU trained nurses will then be contracted-out by each of the sites for the

purpose of extracting information from medical charts.

       3. Consent will be now at the discretion of each sites. Some sites have expressed

no need for further consent from patients since the initial consent form already

allows for these other type of data to be collected.

        4. HRSA will support funding to each site. The level and logistics to be

determined later with assistance from OU.

Projects are still to submit an estimate to Betty for contracting the nurses.  Veronica asked for clarification on the training of the nurses.  David said that the training will likely take place over the phone.

2.  DC Grantees Meeting:

·        David stated that the majority of the grantees wanted to have an all Titles meeting separately from the Grantees meeting and not on a weekend. He solicited feedback on this topic.

·        Michelle asked if David had any dates in mind.

·        David suggested to have the meeting on a Tuesday/Wednesday or Wednesday/Thursday in early August before classes start.

·        Steve suggested that there might be a problem of meeting overlap.

·        David clarified that the all Titles meeting will be held the week before.

·        Tony and Rosana reiterated the benefit of having the meeting in conjunction with the all titles meeting.

·        Robyn stated that if probably would not be a problem for HRSA to have project officers available for either meeting. However HRSA is worried about the burnout factor by having these two meetings back to back since all Titles meetings take a lot of time.

·        Adan stated that HRSA will be heavily committed during the all titles meeting.

·        It was recommended that the meeting take place in late July.

·        Bob suggested that the meeting be held later in the week when the airfares are much cheaper compared to the early or middle part of the week.

·        All projects and HRSA are to email Betty with their preference for the meeting dates and then the Evaluation Center will decide.
